Just do it
Writting this, I realise I want to be as straightforward as possible. With that being said, I think we should take that same approach to everything in life. Specially work-related.
- Talking about doing the thing, isn't doing the thing.
- Planning about doing the thing, isn't doing the thing.
- Arguing about the best way to do the thing, isn't doing the thing.
Get your priorities right, get your task list ready and start working. There is no benefit in wasting time preparing for something you are actually not doing. That's the formula for procastination.
Some key aspects
Simplicity is king
Look at this specimen. As straightforward as it gets. And that is how we - mostly - should approach our tasks. We need to just focus on completing the task as efficiently as possible, taking in consideration that by doing so, we are one step closer to our goal.
Don't overestimate boring tasks
Each one of those boring - and sometimes repetitive - tasks that you got to do are actually building your future. Do not sleep on them.

- Users want a new feature? -> Start coding
- Need to lose some weight? -> Start exercising
